1. About this website

This website is operated by Purnell Health and Wellness Ltd, company number 17356586, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 74 High Street, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8EG. Clinic: 3 Market Row, Barkers Arcade, Northallerton, DL7 8LN. Contact: hello@purnellhealth.co.uk.

Harry Lewis-Purnell is a registered chiropractor, GCC number 06640. You can check the GCC register ↗.

2. Educational information, not individual advice

The body map, exercise library and other resources provide general education. They do not diagnose a condition, assess your suitability for treatment or replace individual medical advice. A body-region selection is not a screening result. Exercise examples are not a prescription or a substitute for a programme tailored to you.

Warning signs are examples, not a complete checklist. Do not delay medical assessment because of website information. Call 999 for a life-threatening emergency. For urgent help in England, use NHS 111 ↗ or call 111. The clinic email is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency service.

3. Using website materials

You may browse the site and print the clinic's original general exercise guidance for your own personal, non-commercial use, keeping its safety information and attribution intact. Please do not misrepresent the material as individual advice, change its meaning, republish it commercially or use the clinic's name or logo in a way that implies endorsement.

Rights in the clinic's original content and branding belong to the clinic or its licensors. Rehab My Patient videos and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. The site's print function does not grant permission to download, copy or redistribute those videos, images or third-party exercise sheets.

4. External services and links

Links and optional video players may lead to services outside our control. Their privacy notices and terms apply. A link is not a guarantee of their content, availability or suitability. No patient-portal connection or automatic synchronisation with Rehab My Patient is implied.

5. Appropriate use and availability

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload malicious content, disrupt the site or misuse contact details for spam. We aim to keep information accurate, but it may be updated and the site may occasionally be unavailable. Please contact the clinic if you find an error or need information in another format.

6. Appointments and service terms

Appointments are booked through our Jane booking page. Check the appointment type, date, time, practitioner, fee and booking terms before confirming. Your appointment is confirmed when Jane issues a booking confirmation. General enquiries do not create an appointment or an obligation to buy care.

  • Initial chiropractic assessment: £70 for 60 minutes.
  • Chiropractic treatment: £40 for 30 minutes.
  • Chiropractic reassessment and treatment: £40 for 45 minutes.

Treatment at an initial assessment is included only when appropriate, agreed and time allows. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange. Read the cancellation and missed-appointment policy, any applicable fees and payment arrangements in Jane before booking. Contact the clinic if you need these explained. There is no requirement to commit to a treatment package.

See our cancellation information, complaints information and first-visit guide.

7. Consent and choice

Examination and treatment require informed consent. Options, material risks and reasonable alternatives will be discussed. You may ask questions, take time to decide, decline an intervention or withdraw consent. Assessment may identify that no treatment, further investigation or referral is the most appropriate option. Outcomes and a particular number of visits are not guaranteed.

8. Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights, including applicable consumer rights and the right to services provided with reasonable care and skill, are not affected.

9. Governing law and updates

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protection or court rights available where you live. Changes to website terms will be shown with an updated date. Any future appointment terms will be presented before booking rather than applied retrospectively.
